In a protected environment, because the Corrèze is an acclaimed 'région verte', so no pollution, it is possible to discover and enjoy this region's calm as wll as its wild beauty.

At less than 20 km you may surrender to any number of your favourite sports:

  • horse riding (arrangements at our neighbour's horse farm)
  • parasailing and hang gliding off the top of the Suc au May (911m)
  • mountainbiking
  • long hikes on foot on way marked paths right from the castle
  • fishing in the lakes and rivers
  • wild river navigation (by raft, canoe, kayak, gabare)
  • swimming
  • playing golf at one of the four golfcourses in the area
  • visiting the sites: castles, museums, abbeys, churches, waterfalls or one of 'France's most beautiful villages' of which there are many in the area.

In summer taste the blueberry pies and clafoutis, in autumn search for mushrooms and other eatable toadstools in the brush wood.

The guest rooms are situated on the first floor of the castle, breakfast is served in the hall.
